Hey everyone. I'll be cleaning out some stuff from my gallery concerning my Alphe-Terran stuff. The content in question that'll be disappearing is the worldbuilding data and some character profiles.

Why is that?

Well... my life's been a bit of a journey. And it's at this point that I realized many of the communication disasters that've happened were due to an inability to talk clearly about what I wanted to work on or do. This also affected how some of my friends treated other friends. Finally, my imagination is strongly linked to spiritual practices that for reasons, I cannot disclose publicly. You may inquire about these in private though.

Following this archival, I will be reinforcing a policy going forward - If you come to me solely for fetishistic reasons (read - vore, bondage, etc), I will block you.

I do not hold anything against these paraphelias. But the relationships that have spawned (and got destroyed) by mismarketing my work as just erotica-only value are more than I can count. I've seen more friends gotten split apart due to this disunity of identity. And that caused a lot of isolation over the years.

Will I be posting on here again? Probably. But it'll be a while since I'm still reworking Alphe-Terran lore to fit what I intended before I found the internet.

Skype officially doesn't work as well for me as the legacy skype client did. For those of you who have my skype handle, my discord handle's written in my status.

For those of you who don't have discord, I also have Whatsapp, Telegram, XMPP, and IRC available.

Yeah, a lot of the other protocols I usually use are dead in the water. Which is kind of a shame.

But hey. I do love the new journal editor on deviantart these days. It does look really slick.

Dear everyone who's on my Skype contact list and is probably reading this:

I can't use skype anymore. No, the mobile client works fine. It's the desktop client that isn't. It's a literal paperweight. All it does is log in. It can't receive or send messages.

I found out what caused this! if you're encountering similar problems like I did, just do this. It's only a temporary fix though...:

rm ~/.Skype/${youracctname}/*.lock

Telegram can be accessed on both desktop and phone and messages sync. Yay.

I can access both yahoo and AIM easily with both my desktop and phone (note: I won't be able to keep logs when on the phone). Same with IRC, but I've selectively disabled history with IRC on desktop. I can't log things with IRC on phone.

F-list I'm able to get onto only desktop, but I can log it.

Linphone is last because it's only really there for voice and video-chatting. You can use it in the cases where I'm not available on Yahoo or AIM.

That being said, I'll still be using skype on mobile up to 2015-08-25. If you have me on skype and notice me offline, note me with the contact details you want in case you missed them.

[UPDATE]: I sent the necessary log files to the skype support and dev people. Hopefully they can resolve it quickly.

[UPDATE]: THE CRISIS IS OVER. I found out what happened. So running skype directly worked fine, but running it with apulse32 didn't. That's because running it with apulse32 makes it expect a microphone, but the microphone isn't (because I had my webcam plugged in).

Sapphira: According to Benevol's files, it's supposed to mean something like, "Beautiful Harvest". And some gibberish about naming me to fit in with everyone else.
Alicia: Magical alias. Not telling you my real name in this current lifetime.
Merric: Don't know.
Benevol: I have better things to do right now...

3. Are you single or taken?
Sapphira: Why isn't polyandry or polygamy an option?
Alicia: You know... I have to agree with Saph on this, even though she's nutters. It doesn't cover the multitudes of relations that I have with various daemons.
Merric: Saph already said it too.
Benevol: Irrelevant.

4. Do you have any abilities or powers?
Sapphira: Electricity! And I'm such an awesome person to be born with this. Look at what I can do! *Runs off and then offers the writer of this journal a bouquet of paraplegics*
Alicia: Fate probability manipulation, pyrokinesis, and aura ripping in that order. Though, I wouldn't want to monopolize on them. They're everyone's birthright.
*Merric: Light manipulation and all the perks of being a haustian. Wouldn't give it up for anything in the world.
Benevol: Light manipulation and expertise with magical genetic engineering.

Transcriber's note: Both Merric and Saph are haustians, but Merric's particularly... patriotic about his newfound form. Saph just sees her haustian abilities as something that's normal.

Sapphira: *Tilts head and twitches ears* What's a Maruu suu?
Alicia: If you consider having near infinite memory a blessing, you're wrong. Dead wrong. In fact, you're going to wish that you could die after what I've been through. *She cracks a smirk as sleek as a crow's claw.* But I'm here and that's what matters.
Merric: I'm pretty sure I'm not fictional.
Benevol: ...I don't know and I don't care?

Sapphira: Gray blue.
Alicia: That depends. Now, if you're asking about my current life's eye colors, that would be golden brown.
Merric: Teal.
Benevol: ...Sky blue.

7. How about hair color?
Sapphira: Blue.
Alicia: Light purple.
Merric: Blonde.
Benevol: Very, very, very light blue.

8. Have you any family members?
Sapphira: *shakes head*
Alicia: *Looks at Saph, Merric, and Benevol.* Does anyone else find these questions absurdly narrow-minded?
Benevol: Maybe they're narrow-minded if you keep thinking they're only asking about your current incarnation.
Alicia: But that's how people operate. At least these people.
Merric: *glances at Alicia arguing with Benevol* Anyway... All of my blood family're royal pricks, literally. Love the hell out of my foster family though.

*Sapphira holds up a pet chicken and shoves it in the questioner's face.* Isn't she adorbs?
Alicia: I guess that crow I talk to every Sunday would count if it weren't for the fact we talk with each other as equals.
Merric: Nope.
Benevol: No. Tarvos keeps thinking that I think that he's my pet though and makes a huge beef out of it. There are some things called necessary secrets.

10. That's cool I guess. Now tell me something that you don't like.
Sapphira: Watermelons. They're plants and I can't eat plants.
Alicia: Solomonic summoners. *She takes in a deep breath.* To say that they make my blood boil would be an understatement. When I hear one of those ignoramuses prostrate themselves before my gods in fear and torture the hell out of them, I can't stand how everyone just pours sympathy for the torturer.
Benevol: The populace of Alphe-Terra that aren't concerned for the haustians. Seriously, why was I the one that had to start the support systems for them?
Merric: Alicia and Benevol've covered it for me. Other than that, makeup and perfumes. They promote dishonesty and are completely unneeded expenses.

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
Sapphira: Working with circuits. Means I can use my powers in cool new ways without using as much of my own abilities.
Alicia: Magic working, calligraphy, drawing, *Alicia stares at the list she's kept across a few lifetimes*... Yeah. I don't feel like listing off the ones that aren't consistent across my lifetimes.
Merric: Songs. Sex. Mind games. In about that order.
Benevol: Creature design. I love the idea of filling new ecological niches with my own hands.

12. Have you ever hurt anyone before?
Sapphira: Oh, hun, I've hurt lots of people. It's the meaning of my existence.
Alicia: Physically and spiritually, only the crazy ones. Emotionally, well... apparently my relationship choices hurt everyone because they think I'm going to be damned to a fiery pit. FYI, Hell's not a pit and I have a room reservation there. It's a pretty neat place to stay in when the other residents aren't picking at me for my other quirks.
Merric: Voluntarily? Only hypocritical asshats. There are some casualties I can't avoid though.
Benevol: I try not to hurt anyone, but it's like no matter what I do, someone in some way can and will get hurt. i

14. What kind of animal are you?
Sapphira: Haustian.
Alicia: Human.
Merric: Haustian.
Benevol: Viltal.

15. Worst habits?
Sapphira: Eating sweets. I know I shouldn't be eating them, but gods-damned they're so fucking delicious. Not as delicious as what I usually eat though.
Alicia: Wanting to write a curse for every ignoramus that pisses me off. Sometimes I forget to stop constructing it in my head and then bad things happen. Yeah...
Merric: I'd...say it has to do with my food preferences, if we go with what the transcriber says about me. What I would say is not learning to shut up at times. I know I can't stand idiots, but sometimes I just talk too much.
Benevol: Not getting out regularly. Even though Tarvos used this as an excuse to leave my office, he does have a point. There are times where I forgot to replace the plants I keep in there.

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
Sapphira: No. Why should I when I'm the most awesome person I know?
Alicia: Shamash and Merric. Shamash is pretty obvious because he's the god of the sun and justice. Yes. I've had the pleasure of being one of his top high priestesses before the sudden disappearance way back then. As for Merric, it's because he didn't ignore me after I made a certain mistake that I'd raaather not want to talk about. That greatly helped with my road to recovery.
Merric: Benevol and Saph. Benevol because he's the one viltal that chose to humble himself to prove what the viltal had to say about non-humanoid emotions. Saph because she gave me the power to finally act on the injustices I saw in the world.
Benevol: Had the court case ruled in my favor, I would've said Aeon and Deigin. But it didn't.

18. Do you go to school?
Sapphira: Nope.
Alicia: Lots of them. The magic academies in the past were awesome because they didn't fluff up any crap. I should know since I wrote the curriculum.
Merric: Yes. I flunked my history courses though because I kept referring to Benevol's actions in a somewhat neutral manner instead of the "Oh my gods, Benevol's an asshole!"
Benevol: Of course.

19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
Sapphira: I dunno. I'm good at taking care of the kids I come across, but I also eat other people's children if they have a loving family they can rely on. I never had that when growing up. So maybe the best answer for this'd be...no?
Alicia: I'd consider it if more people were willing to study magic.
Merric: I'd love to, but... Saph. Really, just read her answer.
Benevol: I technically have an extended family already from my lab work, so... yes and no?

20. Whoops, should've skipped that last question   Do you have fangirls/fanboys?
Sapphira: I used to have a huge fanbase, but then the transcriber chased them away because they kept romanticizing me. Now, I can understand that because they kept getting me wrong, but if they portrayed me correctly? I would bathe myself in that fame.
Alicia: According to the transcriber, I have one very, very enthusiastic fan off-site.
Merric: On Alphe-Terra? A huge fanbase that irritates my nerves. At least they're a reliable food source. Off of Alphe-Terra, quite a few people.
Benevol: I'd say every haustian, but they're more like family instead of like a fanbase.

21. What are you most afraid of?
Sapphira: I'd rather not disclose.
Alicia: *pastes Saph's answer over her slot and Merric's*

Benevol: The populace of Alphe-Terra. Seriously, they can be fucking nuts sometimes.

22. What do you usually wear?
Sapphira: Tube tops and pants. Sometimes a fisherman's vest and pants if I'm the mood to play, "Pretend to be a human for a few centuries" to carry all my goodies on me.
Alicia: During spellwork, I wear a black cloak covered with feathers, golden gauntlets, and golden boots. Don't worry, I've got consent from the birds whose feathers are on the cloak. Otherwise, formal business suit.
Merric: Red and gold formal coat with matching pants.
Benevol: Lab coat and jewellery. Caeli keeps thinking I have a superiority complex because of the jewellery.

23. What's one food that tempts you?
Sapphira: Other than sweets? People! People're soooo delicious.
Alicia: Hrm... *thinks* Surprisingly I can't name one. Strange.
Merric: That would be you. Need I say anything more?
Benevol: Nothing, really. Life force is life force.

Sapphira: Nupe.
Alicia: Yes... At least I expected you to be this stupid.

Benevol: I'd classify myself as middle class even though I'm a god. A god needs to remain connected with the common people to do his job right.

27. How many friends do you have?
Sapphira: Um... *counts on hands* I think two to five. One of them's off-site and the other one's the transcriber.
Alicia: I am not your friend, Saph.
Sapphira: But you're friends with Merric, so that means you're friends with me.
Alicia: It doesn't work that way, Saph.
Merric: Four. One of them's dead though and he was a nice chap...
Benevol: I don't feel like counting right now.

Sapphira: Meat pie?

Alicia: I'm not sure if that's supposed to be an innuendo, Merric.
Merric: It could've been, but no. I actually did love cream pie when I was human.

Benevol: Why not fly to various star systems? That was the next thing on the list of things to get started on Alphe-Terra because we would have more experience talking with more species. And that's always good.

35. What's your personality type?
Sapphira: Depends on who you ask. If you ask my transcriber, she'd say that I was the most awesome person in the world because I can dedicate my time to just listening to her. Now, if you ask anyone else? They'd say I'm an extraordinary sadist who adores the spotlight.
Alicia: I see myself as a sort of dark hero, going 'round dealing out karmic punishments. Others tend to see me as a hybristophile just because I actually know what the term demon originated from.
Merric: My transcriber keeps attaching the Chivalrous Pervert trope to me :I. And Knight in Sour Armor.
Benevol: I hope I'm humble because if I'm not, then that means that I'm not doing my job right.
